The Malta Continence Care Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 2007, dedicated in helping people with bowel and bladder incontinence.
The members of the committee representing this association are from various spheres of health care, with the aim of providing a service that covers a holistic approach to towards continence care and promoting research into incontinence and other related problems. The MCCA provides professional and public awareness on the implications of incontinence and how this can be prevented. Our mission is to continually improve the quality of life of people with incontinence.
The MCCA, together with other worldwide associations organize the world continence week annually. This week is dedicated to raise awareness on this condition and provide further information on innovative care towards continence promotion.
An e-newsletter is issued biannually and is distributed to all members and other interested bodies.
The membership is open to all health care workers/professionals, persons suffering from incontinence and their relatives. The membership is €10 per year.
