Regular Runs
These are very popular and are held on pre-advised Sunday mornings during winter and on weekday evenings in summer. Owners usually meet up at the Ta' Xbiex Marina and a leisurely route taking in some of Malta's more picturesque roads is followed. Many owners and their families usually include lunch or dinner as the case may be.

Club Events
Every so often the club organises barbeques, wine and pizza nights, video or slide shows and even film nights. Of course the club is open every Thursday evening.

Exhibitions

The OMC also holds regular exhibitions, usually for a philanthropic cause and is proud to have organized Malta's largest classic car show ever at the Naxxar Trade Fair Grounds in 1997 when 166 vehicles were exhibited.

Other Events
Other events include consistency runs or rallies, treasure hunts, gymkhanas and others. These are all tremendous fun combining classic cars with outdoor events and the inevitable light-hearted banter!

Classic car events abroad
For some years now, the OMC has formed friendly ties with the International Car Club of Taormina. During visits to Malta's nearest neighbour, OMC members enjoy a blissful week of driving on long tarmacked roads, sightseeing and being overwhelmed by Sicilian hospitality. Happily, our cars have always made the trip with barely a murmur, despite being between 30 and 65 years old!

The OMC has also organized visits to famous classic car shows such as the ones in Alexandra Palace, London, the NEC in Birmingham, the British Motor Heritage Museum and the Beaulieu Autojumble.

Club assistance
The Old Motors Club, however, does not simply exist for the above activities. There is much more. The committee and members of the OMC are passionate about old cars and regularly help other members. This assistance may vary from searching for parts or even vehicles, to advice and even practical help during a restoration.  The OMC also assists members when difficulties arise from time-to-time with the authorities regarding new legislation etc. that may affect the classic car hobby.
